History:
(X-Men: Ronin#1 - BTS) - The girl known only as Pyro became a mercenary at some unrevealed point in the past and befriended other mutant mercenaries Iceman and Colossus.
(X-Men: Ronin#1) - Pyro and her friends Iceman and Colossus enjoyed a night out drinking at strip joint Dazzler's unaware Hellfire Club's Emma Frost and Tessa were amongst the bar's patrons. Frost was on a mission to find some goons to help her recruit X-Man Jean Grey into their ranks to promote herself within its ranks. Taking a liking to the three mutants, Frost used her telepathic abilities to mind control Iceman into attacking Pyro when she bluntly remarked it was his turn to buy a round of drinks. Having turned Pyro into a popsicle, she unleashed her full potential and turned into a flame herself, quickly freeing herself. Frost then took control of Colossus with whom she attacked the other mutants, satisfied with their mutant abilities Frost declared showtime was on.
(X-Men: Ronin#2) - That very night Pyro, Iceman and Colossus, while under Frost's mind control, attacked the X-Mansion. Combining her powers with those of Iceman and Colossus they successfully breached the mansion after which a fierce battle followed. In the course of the battle Pyro used her mutant abilities to create a frightening fire-dragon with whom she attacked Storm. However, the weather-controlling X-Man summoned a storm to douse Pyro and her dragon which seemed to physically hurt her. Pyro was rendered unconscious and returned to her human-form. After Frost's goons had successfully been defeated they were incarcerated in the mansion's cell complex. Stuck in her cell, Pyro was powerless as Wolverine interrogated Iceman in a separate cell and easily persuade the rogue mutant to reveal his mind was controlled by Frost. Determined to catch Frost, Wolverine left the X-Mansion.
(X-Men: Ronin#3) - When the X-Mansion came under attack by police chief's Shiro Yoshida' police force they located Pyro, Iceman and Colossus' detainment cells. The agents opened Iceman's cell noting he would be placed under arrest by the proper authorities. However, the vile Iceman easily killed the officers by creating ice shards from his body after which he released Pyro and Colossus. Freed, Pyro ignited her flame while Colossus killed two more officers. Having witnessed the ordeal, Jean Grey confronted the mercenaries. Screaming at the murderers Grey's eyes turned white as she manifested an unearthly power.
(X-Men: Ronin#4 - BTS) - Jean Grey tapped into an unearthly source of power with which she'd killed the Pyro and the other two dangerous mutants.
(X-Men: Ronin#4) - Just as Cyclops and Storm returned to the X-Mansion they found the corpses of Pyro, Iceman and Colossus. Instantly believing that Yoshida's police force had killed the mutants until Jean Grey appeared and revealed she'd ended their lives.
Comments: Created by J. Torres and Makoto Nakatsuka.
Due to the Asian specific nature of the Mangaverse reality, it goes without saying that while characters might look similar to their 616 counterparts, they most likely will have distinctly different names, codenames or powers. Therefore we will only list the names when they have been used in the comics.
On Earth-616, Pyro is St. John Allerdyce perhaps this version could've been St. Jane Allerdyce. Also, while the 616-Pyro is Australian this version was British, using mostly British slang.
X-Men: Ronin introduced us to several doppelgangers of already established Mangaverse characters: a new Colossus, working besides Iceman and Pyro. He wasn't the same character as the already established Colossus. And amongst the mutants seen fighting police officers and later joining the mutant underground where new versions of the Beast and Nightcrawler who clearly weren't the same as those part of the Azure which were brutally murdered by the X-Men.
