History:
(Homer the Happy Ghost#18/4 (fb) - BTS) - The
nefarious and armed Robert the Robber escaped jail and was loose in the
neighborhood frequented by the Ghost Gang (Dugan, Homer, Melvin and
Zelda the witch). Police hunted for him.
(Homer the Happy Ghost#18/4) - Simple-minded Melvin
the ghost farewelled the gang to go on his own for a while and
coincidentally bumped into Robert the Robber. The slow-witted Melvin
didn't understand Robert the Robber's villainous demands and this led to comedic
confusion. Melvin showed his ghostly floating nature as a suggestion
for the fugitive to escape but this shocked Robert the Robber. A
policeman caught up with the criminal and the scared criminal begged to
be returned to prison. The policeman laughed until he saw Melvin
floating too. Robert the Robber and the policeman both fainted when
Melvin showed he could be intangible too and told them he was a ghost.
Simple Melvin left them unconscious on the footpath, thinking they had
just fallen asleep.
