History: (Marvels Epilogue/2 (fb) - BTS) - Schneider-Man, the lovable mascot for Mahvel Comics, once let a girl and her father die. As a result, he didn't get any lines within an entire comic series.

(Marvels Epilogue/2) - As photojournalist Shill Pheldon introduced himself and spoke with various superpowered Mahvels, Schneider-Man was complaining to a man about not having any lines throughout an entire comic book series, remarking that people would think he'd have done something wrong to get no lines of dialogue. The man responded by reminding Schneider-Man of the time he let a girl die and Schneider-Man argued back that it had only happened the one time. The man then reminded Schneider-Man of the girl's father dying as well and Schneider-Man reluctantly admitted that it was two times not just once. Schneider-Man then swung off into the air as Pheldon rushed to try to get a photo of him. Pheldon managed to get a quick photo of Schneider-Man departing followed by a photo of the Why-Men fighting amongst themselves before being crushed by the gigantic hero Gigant-Man.

Comments: Created by Steve Darnall, Kurt Busiek, Alex Ross and Mark Braun.

The man Schneider-Man was talking to about getting no lines was the unidentified Earth-19913 counterpart to Earth-616's Joe "Robbie" Robertson.

Schneider-Man's origin was never revealed so it's unclear whether he was a human mutate or if he acquired his superhuman powers through some other means...I went with human mutate since he IS a counterpart of Earth-616's Spider-Man, who was mutated.

Schneider-Man was never seen outside of his costume so his eye and hair color were impossible to determine. It seems likely that he would have hazel eyes and brown hair, much like his Earth-616 counterpart, however.

Profile by Proto-Man.

CLARIFICATIONS:
Earth-19913's Schneider-Man
should be distinguished from:

J. Jonah Jingleheimer Schmidt

J. Jonah Jingleheimer Schmidt was a newspaper publisher who regularly denounced the superheroic Mahvels as unfair since he also wanted to run around the city in his underwear. When photojournalist Shill Pheldon spoke with various Mahvels, Schmidt lit a rolled up newspaper on the fiery Fumin' Torch and whined about his desire to wear underwear in public, barely even noticing Schneider-Man swinging down in front of him.
