SKRATT
Real Name: Skratt
Identity/Class: Alternate Reality
(Reality-5631) extraterrestrial
(Zn^rx/Snark) humanoid
Occupation: Scout
Group Membership: Snark military
Affiliations: Jeremy
(last name unrevealed) (all Reality-5631)
Enemies: Power Pack (Energizer, Lightspeed,
Mass Master, Zero-G), "Larry" (interdimensional "squid") (all
Reality-5631)
Known Relatives: Father (name unrevealed)
Aliases: None
Base of Operations: Snark space, briefly Earth
(Reality-5631)
First Appearance: Power Pack III#1 (June,
2005)
Powers/Abilities: Skratt is a young Snark,
vengeful but eager to prove himself to older Snarks in authority. As he
is younger and smaller than adult Snarks, he does not have the same
strength, speed, discipline and intelligence as his adult counterparts.
He is armed with Snark technology, such as an armored battlesuit that
incorporates a net launcher. He can fly a single-seater warp
spacecraft. Skratt is almost unique in
that he does not have the usual Snark digitigrade leg structure and is
instead plantigrade, even possibly exclusively bipedal; as such he is
likely marginally slower and less
quiet than his digitigrade counterparts. Whether Skratt is a
mutate/mutant or
just a genetic anomaly in this regard is unrevealed.
Height: 5'5"
(length, head to tail ~9')
Weight: 300 lbs.
Eyes: Red
Hair: None
History:
(Power Pack III#1 (fb) - BTS) - At some point, the young Snark
Skratt made an error of judgment and was made scout. He was put on a
solo mission to scout for energy signs from enemy Kymellians.
(Power Pack III#1) - By chance, Skratt detected Kymellian energy discharge (actually power granted to the human Power children by a Kymellian). Skratt contacted his father, who reluctantly let him investigate further. Skratt landed his spacecraft and donned Snark battle armor that adjusted to his size, and tracked the Power children (now calling themselves the hero team Power Pack) to their house. A brief fight saw Power Pack dismantle Skratt's armor and he ran away.
(Power Pack III#4 (fb) - BTS) - Skratt was forbidden
by his Snark superiors to confront Power Pack alone. Skratt made it his
personal mission to destroy Power Pack.
(Power Pack III#4) - Power Pack stopped a bank
robbery, but their uncoordinated response let one, Jeremy, slip away.
Having continued to monitor nearby Kymellian energy, Skratt captured
Jeremy and interrogated him. Using a shipboard device, Skratt imbued
Jeremy with powers that enabled the criminal to shoot green energy
blasts from his hands. Skratt then set a trap and had Jeremy publicly
challenge Power Pack. A family feud saw only three of the children
(Energizer, Mass Master, Zero-G) respond, but Skratt used a Snark
anesthetic neuro-fiber gun to knock them out. Skratt bound the three
and took them to their house to await the fourth member. Lightspeed
arrived and freed her siblings, then distracted Skratt and Jeremy and
led the dire duo to the basement where the other Power children activated
their father's interdimensional transporter where the giant "squid"
"Larry", impervious to their energy blasts, pulled Skratt and Jeremy
inside. The portal was then shut.

CLARIFICATIONS
:
Skratt has no known connections to:
Jeremy was a bank robber whose masked heist with
three others was stopped by Power Pack. However, the children team's
uncoordinated response let him slip away. The young Snark Skratt
captured Jeremy and interrogated him. Keen for revenge on the children,
Skratt used Snark technology to painfully imbue Jeremy with the ability
to shoot green destructive energy blasts. Skratt set a trap for Power
Pack by having Jeremy issue a public challenge. Only three of the Power
Pack children responded and were quickly knocked out by Skratt's gun.
The fourth sibling later freed them and the villains were duped by the
children heroes to go near their father's interdimensional transporter,
where the giant interdimensional "squid", impervious to Jeremy's
blasts, pulled Jeremy and Skratt into its dimension.
