History:

(Twitter online post by creator David "Kopfstaff" Muller - January 8, 2019 (fb) - BTS) - Pierce Parker was a private investigator.

(Spider-Verse III#5/3) - Parker was bitten by a laboratory spider during one of his investigations and the bite granted him superhuman spider-like powers. While remaining a private detective during the day, Parker took on spy work, using his powers and secret gadgets at night as Spider-Spy.

(Twitter online post by creator David "Kopfstaff" Muller - December 26, 2018) - Spider-Spy joined the Secret Service and acted as an agent alongside Marilyn Jane during an encounter with William Fisk.

(Twitter online post by creator David "Kopfstaff" Muller - December 30, 2018) - During another frantic mission against William Fisk, Spider-Spy was perched atop his Spy-Mobile driven by Marilyn Jane and he demanded Marilyn Jane get him closer to their target. As Marilyn denounced Spider-Spy's actions as madness and begged him to be careful, Spider-Spy thought about how Marilyn wanted more but something or someone was holding her back.

(Twitter online post by creator David "Kopfstaff" Muller - January 8, 2019) - Spider-Spy went on another mission against Fisk, this time webbing up enemies and climbing up walls before escaping in the Spy-Mobile with Marilyn Jane.

(Spider-Verse III#5/3) - Despite the constant looming threat of William Fisk, Spider-Spy continued to work with Marilyn Jane to keep the streets of Noir New York safe at night.

Spider-Spy is one of several Spidersona's who appeared in the back-pages of Spider-Verse (2020). "Spidersona" was a hashtag that launched around the release of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018). Amazed at the talent of creativity of people posting their creations online, Marvel reached out to some of these artists to create new Spidersona art especially for the Spider-Verse (2020) series. Every issue showcased several original pieces of Spidersona art by artists from around the globe after which most appeared in the story as well.

The first sketches of Spider-Spy were done up like a movie poster and mentions characters that exist on Earth-94192 including Becky Brant, Jim J. Jameson, Fay Hardy and Marisa Parker. While the counterparts on Earth-616 can be deduced, what sort of relationship, if any, that these characters had with Spider-Spy was never revealed. On that note, William Fisk was mentioned in several online posts about the character and an unidentified character resembling Earth-616's Kingpin appears not only in one online piece of art but also the Marvel-published art seen in Spider-Verse III#5. Given the recurring mentions of Fisk in the online art pieces, I'm willing to bet money on the character seen in Spider-Verse III#5 is Fisk and that is how I am treating it in this profile. If something ever disproves that assumption, I'll update the profile accordingly. Additionally, and this is pure speculation here, I'm thinking that the character of Marisa Parker is the Earth-94192 counterpart to Earth-616's May Parker so it's possible Marisa is Pierce Parker's aunt on Earth-94192 but there is no evidence to support or disprove this theory. While we're at it, let's go ahead and suggest who the other characters might be. My opinion is as follows:

Pierce Parker/Spider-Spy=Peter Parker/Spider-Man
Marilyn Jane=Mary Jane Watson
William Fisk=Wilson Fisk/Kingpin
Becky Brant=Betty Brant
Jim J. Jameson=J. Jonah Jameson
Fay Hardy=Felicia Hardy/Black Cat
Marisa Parker=May Parker

Spider-Spy's hair color was impossible to determine, as he was never seen without his mask on.
