History:
(Marvel Team-Up IV#6 (fb) - BTS) - Starforce Blue (also known simply as
"Starforce") was a first response unit formed from different aspects of
the Kree criminal justice system that were sent into dangerous
situations by the Kree as representatives of law and order. At some
point during a period where the Shatterax on the team was a mustached
man, Starforce Blue arrested a Badoon bootlegger.
(Marvel Team-Up IV#5 (fb) - BTS) - The mustached cyborg Shatterax was eventually replaced by a new Shatterax, Seruly-N.
(Marvel Team-Up IV#5) - After Dr. Walter Lawson, calling himself Wastrel and feeling as if the Kree had stolen his life from him, activated a distress beacon aboard the Kree Captain Mar-Vell's former ship, the Kree sent the hit squad Starforce Blue to investigate the beacon, unaware that Wastrel was planning on killing whomever the Kree sent to answer the beacon and stealing their ship in a revenge plot against the Kree. When the heroic Captain Marvel and Ms. Marvel located Wastrel in an attempt to stop his scheme, Wastrel informed them that the Kree had sent a "rescue team" known as Starforce, at which point Captain Marvel informed him that Starforce was a hit squad.
(Marvel Team-Up IV#6) - Despite knowledge of Starforce's deadly nature, Wastrel nonetheless began planning his attack on Starforce and Captain Marvel offered advice on how Starforce might launch their own attack. Interrupting the discussion as they arrived on the scene, Starforce Blue simply knocked on the door of Wastrel's ship and Wastrel opened the door, prepared for battle alongside Captain and Ms. Marvel. Instead of an attack, Wastrel was met by a greeting and introduction from Starforce Blue's Accuser Inndig-O, who asked if she could enter the ship and ask a few questions. Ms. Marvel immediately apologized for Captain Marvel and Wastrel, admitting they were expecting an attack, and the Accuser explained that Starforce Blue was a squad formed to represent Kree law and criminal justice. A bit reluctant, Wastrel asked what the Accuser's questions were and the Accuser began by asking Wastrel how he had acquired the former Captain Mar-Vell's ship. A smiling Wastrel revealed that he had found the ship and the Accuser followed up by asking if Wastrel had simply found the technology needed to get the ship up and running. When Wastrel replied that he had stolen the technology over a period of much of his life, the Accuser asked if Wastrel had utilized a Kree Omni-Wave Projector. Wastrel answered in the affirmative and the Accuser commented that she had no further questions, revealing her cloaked teammates Yond-R the Protector, Cadmi-M the Pursuer, Seruly-N the Shatterax and Major-L the Ultimus, who remained cloaked to observe the situation as judge.
On the Accuser's orders, Shatterax then announced that Wastrel was now a prisoner of the Kree Empire and attempted to take Wastrel into custody. Captain Marvel came to Wastrel's defense, suggesting the Kree owed Wastrel an apology not an arrest. The Pursuer then reminded Wastrel and the heroes that Wastrel had been accused of crimes against the Kree Empire and she asked why and for what purpose Wastrel had stolen Kree technology. Wastrel insisted he stole the Kree technology to protect from future attacks after the Kree had attempted to kill him years earlier. The Pursuer then turned the questioning over to the Protector, who asked if Wastrel might have activated the Omni-Wave distress beacon by accident, but Wastrel gladly admitted he had purposely activated the beacon. Wastrel then confessed his crimes and pleaded guilty, surprising Shatterax, and the Pursuer asked if Wastrel was sure he wanted to plead guilty. The Accuser then asked Ultimus if he heard Wastrel's confession, at which point Ultimus de-cloaked and announced that he was ready to make a ruling.
Before Ultimus could say what his ruling was, Wastrel
ordered his agents Manuel and Supremor to attack and Manuel blasted
Shatterax while Supremor attacked the Pursuer. The Accuser quickly
ordered Wastrel to call off his agents but Captain Marvel came to
Wastrel's defense, grabbing the Accuser's hammer and hitting her with
it. Shatterax and the Pursuer worked together to counterattack as
Captain Marvel accused Starforce Blue of merely being a new name for
the same old Kree invasion tactics. The Accuser proclaimed Captain
Marvel's remarks to be quite the accusation as she summoned her hammer
to hit Captain Marvel from behind. Recognizing that the Protector was
keeping Wastrel safe, Ms. Marvel asked why he was not attacking with
the rest of Starforce Blue and the Protector explained that his job was
to protect the accused, not to attack Ms. Marvel. As the Protector
continued defending Wastrel, the Pursuer attempted to stab Captain
Marvel before reminding Captain Marvel that she should use her head,
commenting that she couldn't possibly defeat the entire Starforce Blue.
Captain Marvel responded by headbutting the Pursuer. Shatterax then
attempted to attack Ms. Marvel but the Protector came to her defense,
prompting Shatterax to commend the "rookie" Protector's moves. The
Protector thanked Shatterax and Ms. Marvel asked if the two were
dating, causing both the Protector and Shatterax to burst into laughter
and reply in the negative.
The cloaked Ultimus soon reappeared next to Wastrel, who was tinkering on his computers, and reminded Wastrel that he was prepared to pass judgment. Announcing that he might soon be acquitted, Wastrel revealed an active and upgraded Kree Psyche-Magnitron, which he planned to test on Starforce Blue before traveling to the Kree homeworld to depower the Kree. Captain Marvel immediately argued against using the Psyche-Magnitron, reminding Wastrel that he was be doing the same thing to the Kree that had been done to him years earlier. As the stunned Starforce Blue watched on, Captain Marvel attempted to talk Wastrel out of his plan to alter the Kree's genetic structure in an effort to actually move Wastrel far enough away from the Psyche-Magnitron to allow for a cloaking device-using Ms. Marvel to destroy it. Shatterax then arrested Wastrel and Ultimus, from whom Ms. Marvel had stolen the cloaking device, pronounced Wastrel guilty on all charges. Before Ultimus could announce a sentence, the Accuser asked for leniency since Wastrel had once been wronged by a representative of the Kree Empire and Captain Marvel argued that leniency might also score points with the Avengers when she told them about the violation of Kree jurisdiction. The Pursuer and Protector also agreed on leniency, causing Ultimus to adjust his original sentence for Wastrel to ten years of community service to the Kree Empire.
As Starforce Blue took Wastrel into their custody,
the Accuser explained that Wastrel would be forced to use his knowledge
of Kree technology to help rebuild the Kree Empire. As Wastrel was led
into Starforce Blue's ship, he opted to return to using his real name
of Walter Lawson, remarking that a "Wastrel" is a person without
purpose and he thought perhaps he had now found his purpose as he
winked at Captain and Ms. Marvel. Both heroes considered Wastrel's wink
to not be a good sign.

While the Starforce Blue group should not be confused with the Kree Starforce group, the individual members of this group should not be confused with the individual members of the other Kree Starforce group, many of whom shared the same codenames.
The Starforce Blue members have names associated with the color blue.
You can look up the colors to see their shades/hues...unless you're
colorblind, like me...

CLARIFICATIONS:
Starforce Blue has no known connections to:
Inndig-O was the Accuser and de facto leader of Starforce Blue. As part of Starforce Blue, she was summoned to Earth to bring charges against the human Wastrel, who had stolen Kree technology and activated a distress beacon to lure the Kree into a trap. After questioning Wastrel about the charges, the Accuser turned Wastrel over to the rest of her teammates but before her teammate Ultimus could announce a verdict, Wastrel ordered his agents to attack Starforce Blue. During the ensuing fight, the Accuser fought with the heroic Captain Marvel, who attempted to defend Wastrel until Wastrel revealed a Kree Psyche-Magnitron that he planned to use to alter Kree genetic structure starting with Starforce Blue. Once Wastrel was defeated and rendered guilty on all charges, the Accuser led Wastrel into Starforce Blue's ship, explaining that his sentence of ten years of community service would start with Wastrel using his knowledge of Kree technology to rebuild the Kree Empire.
Like all Kree, the Accuser had superhuman durability and enhanced strength. She wielded a large hammer in battle.
--Marvel Team-Up IV#5 (#6,
An unidentified Badoon bootlegger was once arrested by Starforce
Blue, at the time including a mustached cyborg Shatterax. Much later,
after the mustached Shatterax had been replaced by the female Seruly-N,
Starforce Blue's Pursuer asked if Shatterax remembered the time they
had busted the Badoon bootlegger, to which Shatterax replied that the
events had involved the previous male Shatterax, not herself.
Yond-R was the Protector, a relative rookie within Starforce Blue who spent many hours in their hard-light range practicing with his teammate Shatterax (Seruly-N). He accompanied Starforce Blue when they were sent to Earth to respond to a distress beacon activated by the human Wastrel, who sought revenge on the entire Kree Empire. After Wastrel was questioned by most of Starforce Blue and subsequently attacked the group with his henchmen, the Protector performed his function per Kree protocol and defended Wastrel from his own teammates' attacks. During the fight, the heroic Ms. Marvel asked the Protector why he was not attacking her and the Protector explained that he was simply performing his job to protect the accused. After defending Ms. Marvel from an attack by his teammate and friend Shatterax, the Protector was commended on his moves and he chalked his moves up to the hours spent practicing with Shatterax, prompting Ms. Marvel to question if the Protector and Shatterax were dating. The two laughed and replied in the negative. Once Wastrel had been defeated and rendered guilty on all charges, the Protector, in addition to most of Starforce Blue, asked their teammate Ultimus for leniency in Wastrel's case.
Like all Kree, the Protector had superhuman durability and enhanced strength. He also wore costume capable of generating energy shields.
--Marvel Team-Up IV#5 (#6,
Cadmi-M was the Pursuer of Starforce Blue and had been with the group for some time, once serving with a mustached male Shatterax to apprehend a Badoon bootlegger. After the male Shatterax was replaced with a female, Seruly-N, the Pursuer accompanied Starforce Blue as they responded to a Kree distress beacon on Earth. Finding the human Wastrel there utilizing Kree technology, Starforce Blue questioned his actions before Ultimus was ready to announce a verdict. Before he could do so, however, Wastrel had his agents attack Starforce Blue and the Pursuer leaped into battle against Wastrel's agents and the heroic Captain Marvel, who sought to defend Wastrel. Eventually, Wastrel unleashed a Kree Psyche-Magnitron, which he sought to use against all Kree to alter their genetic structure but his device was destroyed by Captain Marvel's partner, Ms. Marvel. Once Wastrel had been rendered guilty on all charges, much of Starforce Blue asked Ultimus for leniency in Wastrel's case since his actions were due to a Kree attack on him years earlier. The Pursuer reluctantly agreed to ask for leniency as well and Ultimus ultimately sentenced Wastrel to ten years of community service to the Kree Empire.
Like all Kree, the Pursuer had superhuman durability and enhanced strength. In battle, she wielded a large spear.
--Marvel Team-Up IV#5 (#6,
An unidentified mustached male was the original, cyborg Shatterax
serving in Starforce Blue. While part of the group, he assisted the
team in apprehending a Badoon bootlegger but he was ultimately replaced
by a female Shatterax, Seruly-N.
Seruly-N was the Shatterax that was active with Starforce Blue
following the original's departure. She befriended the team's newest
recruit, the Protector, and trained with him often in the team's
hard-light range. Shatterax later accompanied Starforce Blue to Earth
to investigate a Kree distress button intended to lure the Kree into a
trap by the human Wastrel. After much of Starforce Blue questioned
Wastrel and as Ultimus was about to render a verdict, Wastrel ordered
his agents to attack Starforce Blue. Wastrel's agent Manuel blasted
Shatterax and twice during the ensuing fight, Shatterax herself
attempted to blast Wastrel, who was defended by Starforce Blue member
the Protector, performing his job to protect the accused. Commending
the Protector on his moves, Shatterax was told that his moves were the
result of the many hours spent training in the hard-light range,
prompting the heroic Ms. Marvel to question whether the Protector and
Shatterax were dating. Laughing at the question, both replied in the
negative as Ms. Marvel apprehended Shatterax. After Wastrel unleashed a
Psyche-Magnitron with the intent on altering all Kree's genetic
structure starting with Starforce Blue, Shatterax and her teammates
stood in shock as Captain Marvel distracted Wastrel long enough for Ms.
Marvel to destroy the Psyche-Magnitron. Shatterax then assisted in
bringing Wastrel into custody.
Like all Kree, Shatterax had superhuman durability and enhanced
strength. She also wore a suit of armor capable of flight and
projecting energy blasts.
Major-L was an aged half-Kree, half-Eternal who used the alias of
Ultimus and acted as judge in Starforce Blue's missions. Accompanying
Starforce Blue to Earth to investigate a Kree distress beacon activated
by the human Wastrel as a trap in a revenge scheme against all Kree,
Ultimus remained cloaked and listened silently as his teammates
questioned Wastrel about the charges brought upon him for stealing and
utilizing Kree technology. De-cloaking to render his verdict, Ultimus
was interrupted when Wastrel ordered his agents to attack Starforce
Blue. Cloaking himself once more to avoid a fight at his age, Ultimus
reappeared to remind Wastrel of his plan to render a verdict, only to
have his cloaking device stolen by Ms. Marvel. When Wastrel unleashed a
Psyche-Magnitron with the intent of altering all Kree's genetic
structure starting with Starforce Blue, Ms. Marvel used Ultimus'
cloaking device to sneak up and destroy the Psyche-Magnitron. Ultimus
then pronounced Wastrel guilty on all charges but before he could
sentence Wastrel, the rest of Starforce Blue asked for leniency given
that Wastrel's actions were the result of a Kree attempt on his life
many years earlier. Taking the request into consideration, Ultimus
ultimately (pun totally intended)
sentenced Wastrel to ten years of community service to the Kree.
Like all Kree, Ultimus possessed a degree of superhuman durability and enhanced strength, though he typically avoided fights due to his extended age. Half-Eternal, Ultimus also aged more slowly than most Kree and in battle, he wore a cloaking device that allowed him to become invisible to the naked eye.
