History:
(Black Knight III#1/4/5 (fb) - BTS) - Prince Caden
Tar's family brutally ruled the small realm of Darkridge on Weirdworld
for several generations. Caden's father Zaltin was king but was
unpopular. The Tar burial chambers showed that previous Tars used
mystical objects to travel beyond Weirdworld.
(Black Knight III#1 (fb)) - Caden fled on
horseback as Zaltin was overthrown by a group of rebels led by
disgraced Avenger Black Knight (Dane Whitman), since stranded from
Earth. Black Knight, under the dark influence of his Ebon Blade sword,
swiftly executed Zaltin and took over ruling the kingdom, which he
rechristened New Avalon.
(Black Knight III#5 (fb) - BTS) - Caden met up with
the Fangs of the Serpent, a group of disguised descendants of HYDRA
warriors (stranded on Weirdworld) still loyal to HYDRA and in contact
with Baron Wolfgang von Strucker, who sought to rule all of Weirdworld.
Caden believed the Ebon Blade could bridge their worlds and so was
given leadership of the group and their still functioning Satan Claw.
He saw opportunity for revenge when he heard three months later that
Black Knight had been imprisoned by the visiting Avengers Unity Squad
and Steve Rogers corrupted by the Ebon Blade.
(Black Knight III#5) - At the Canyon of Screaming
Death, Caden carefully spoke to Rogers, hoping to gain the Ebon Blade
from him. But Black Knight, newly freed, distracted Rogers. Caden
blasted them with the Satan Claw and lunged for the Ebon Claw, clasping
it and attempted to stab Black Knight. But the Ebon Blade's connection
to Whitman refused to let itself pierce him. Shocked, Caden stumbled
back and fell into the chasm, screaming as he fell to his death.

I enjoyed this short Black Knight run with its foray into exploring Weirdworld. But it seems the Tar bloodline has ended, or at least this storyline.
We don't see what mystical item was in the burial chamber that was used for travel from Weirdworld but it's implied it had something to do with the Ebon Blade.

CLARIFICATIONS
:
Caden Tar has no known connections to:
Zaltin Tar was the brutal king of Darkridge in
Weirdworld which had been held by his family for several generations.
At one point, he visited the hallowed burial chambers beneath the
castle and found an item that allowed his forebears to travel from
Weirdworld. However, Zaltin's reign was bloody and he was overthrown by
a group of local rebels led by Earth-exile Black Knight (Dane Whitman).
Beaten, Zaltin pleaded for his life, but Black Knight, influenced by
the Ebon Blade, beheaded Zaltin in a swift execution. Zaltin's son
Caden had fled already and with Zaltin killed by his hand, Black Knight
was installed as replacement ruler and renamed the small realm New
Avalon.
