instant face-to-face communication. She has also been trained to pilot a S.H.I.E.L.D. jet-powered sky-cycle.

History:
(Avengers United They Stand#3 (fb) - BTS) - As the
Avengers roster changed over the years, the animalistic Tigra joined
and participated in many missions. She stayed in Avengers Mansion
(with its attendant Jarvis).
(Avengers United They Stand#1) - Tigra engaged in a
training exercise alongside Hawkeye, Black Panther and Wasp at Avengers
Mansion's training room. The activation of Henry Pym's latest
experiment, Ultron, caused chaos. While the Avengers investigated,
Ultron deliberately overrode the training drones' failsafes and the
drones attacked, leaving Tigra battered and trapped under rubble. She
remained in Avengers infirmary with others while Ant-Man, Hawkeye, Wasp
and Wonder Man chased down and stopped the malevolent Ultron.
(Avengers United They Stand#2) - Along with the rest
of the Avengers, Tigra was briefed by Nick Fury onboard the
S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier about Baron Wolfgang von Strucker's HYDRA plot
to kill all humans save one HYDRA base using a specialized doomsday
rocket. Ant-Man was concerned about Tigra's destructive feral nature
when she trained alone on the Helicarrier. Later, secretly arriving
at the HYDRA island, they met new ally Black Widow, but were soon
fighting
HYDRA troops. After the Ragnarocket's
launch, she slashed at Baron
Strucker's hidden exoskeleton, exposing his frail body. The other
Avengers were shocked at her vicious fury but she reiterated the
Avengers pledge to never kill.
(Avengers United They Stand#3) - The Avengers
discussed Vision's status as a new Avenger. They reminisced over the
life of the apparently dead Wonder Man (whose memories and brain
engrams had been downloaded into the Vision) and how Wonder Man had
progressed from
villain to Avenger (and B-grade movie star). Although they laughed at
the quality of his movies, Tigra revealed he secretly channeled his
earnings to repaying debts from past misdeeds by himself and his
brother.
(Avengers United They Stand#4) - Tigra joined
the other Avengers on a mission to stop the villainous Black Knight
from selling the destructive Ultimate
Amplifier to
the Latverian despot, Dr. Doom, with Tigra clawing her way onto the
Black Knight's flying car, but they were all captured by Doom's
robot sentries after crossing the closed borders. Doom's
power-neutralizing collars also inhibited Tigra's abilities and the
Avengers were locked in the castle dungeons. However, they
and the Black Knight managed to escape Latveria.
(Avengers United They Stand#5)
- Tigra was one of several
Avengers who doubted the loyalty of Black Widow and thought Hawkeye's
romantic feelings for her may have clouded his judgment over her recent
distress
call. However, she did not challenge him assembling a small team to
infiltrate an A.I.M.
base in a rescue bid.
(Avengers United They Stand#6) - Tigra was
captured alongside other Avengers at Avengers Mansion, as well as over
a thousand other humans internationally, by the obsessive
extraterrestrial Collector
using his teleportation orbs and transported to his spaceship into
individual cells, where in his giant flesh form he informed them he was
saving them from an impending extinction event. She saw Vision's solar
blast hurt the Collector but the giant rapidly recovered.
Disease-cleansing gas knocked them out before they were released into a
jungle zone. The Avengers split into two teams; Tigra stayed
with Ant-Man's group and waited to see if they could reopen the doors
to gain access to the rest of the ship. Tigra sensed impending danger
just before the guardian Moon Boy attacked astride Devil Dinosaur
accompanied by raptors.
(Avengers United They Stand#7) - Ant-Man's team
overcame the dinosaurs using their respective powers. Following
Vision's observations, Scarlet Witch recognized Koko as the sign
language-trained gorilla, who then helped communicate with Moon Boy to
aid the Avengers' escape through the doors. Back in the cell-lined
corridor, Tigra smashed through the cell that held Hawkeye's bow kit
and Captain America's shield, just as they again encountered the
Collector. Determined to be free, the Avengers unleashed a combined
attack, unexpectedly
disintegrating the Collector's flesh form, but he generated a new body
from the
ship's floor. Concerned at their destructive nature, the Collector
offered the captive humans the choice to return to Earth; only a few
chose to accompany the Avengers home in a separate spaceship.
