History:
(Avengers & Moon Girl#1 (fb) - BTS) - Tover and his
blue-black-skinned ally began selling weapons.
(Avengers & Moon Girl#1 (fb)) - The heroic
Captain Marvel learned of Tover and his ally's activities and attacked
them in an effort to halt their arms dealings. When Captain Marvel got
Tover into a chokehold, Tover insisted that Captain Marvel had the
wrong guy and his ally warned Tover against saying anything further as
Captain Marvel kicked him. Observing the fight between Tover and
Captain Marvel from Earth, Captain Marvel's teammate Iron Man sent a
communication to Captain Marvel requesting she drop whatever she was
doing and head to the moon to investigate an abnormality there.
Comments: Created by Mohale Mashigo, Dio Reves, Salva Espin and Bruno Oliveira.
Tover's race was not identified nor was the name of his partner-in-crime. Additionally, he was only ever seen with his eyes closed so determining his eye color was impossible.
There are some continuity
contradictions in the first part of the "...and Moon Girl" series of
one-shots (Miles Morales & Moon Girl#1), the most notable of which
is Miles Morales acting as if he'd never met Moon Girl despite them
having served on the Champions together and met several times
previously. That could just be an error on the writer's part or it
could mean that the "...and Moon Girl" series of one-shots are not
actually Earth-616 continuity. The other two one-shots (Avengers &
Moon Girl#1 and X-Men & Moon Girl#1) don't seem to have any
continuity errors (though I admit I haven't read X-Men & Moon
Girl#1) so I'm sticking with the story being -616 for the time being.
If something ever comes along to say otherwise, I'll update the profile
accordingly.
