History:
(Silver Sable and the Wild Pack#9 (fb) ) - After WWII,
Trefkov joined other Nazi criminals and kept contacts with Hydra.
Knowing that the Wild Pack had captured and killed
so many other Nazi fugitives, Trefkov organized the murder of Ernst
Sablinova.
In Symkaria, Silver Sable, Ernst's daughter, was seven years old
when she spotted the killers sent for her father. She ran away to
warn her father, but the Nazis followed her to the secret entrance
of the Wild Pack's base. During the subsequent fight Anastasia,
Ernst's wife and Silver's mother, was killed. The Pack killed the
assassins, but Ivan Trefkov escaped.
(Silver Sable and the Wild
Pack#9 (fb) - BTS) - Trefkov contacted Baron Strucker and Hydra. The meeting was
held in Tokyo.
(Silver Sable and the Wild Pack#9
(fb) ) - The Wild
Pack, led by Ernst
Sablinova, learned about the meeting and went to Tokyo to capture Ivan Trefkov.
But Ernst, who wanted to kill Trefkov by himself, was captured by
Trefkov.
(Silver Sable and the Wild
Pack#1 (fb) / Silver Sable and the Wild Pack#9 (fb) ) - Trefkov seemingly stabbed Ernst to death
and took away his body. The Wild Pack was forced to fight the Hydra
soldiers.
(Silver Sable and the Wild Pack#11/2 (fb) ) - Trefkov's
escape was covered by his men and by a Hydra battalion. The Wild Pack managed
to follow the Nazi on another ship. Then, Trefkov hid himself in the
cargo hold, but he had his men wait for the pursuers. The trap worked,
and when Silver and the others descended into the hold, they were shot in
mid air. Klimt, Shotz and Yanover died.
(Silver Sable and the Wild Pack#12/2 (fb) ) -
Trefkov escaped by boat, two Wild Pack members took another boat and
pursued him. Silver sped after them in the remaining boat but could
only watch when Trefkov killed her men with a missile. She managed to
jump on Trefkov's boat but she was kicked out again and could not
avenge her men.
(Silver Sable and the Wild Pack#13/2 (fb) - BTS) - While Silver
Sable took the leadership of the Wild Pack, the
Wild Pack investigated Trefkov, but never found him.
(Silver Sable and the Wild Pack#10 (fb) - BTS) - Ivan Trefkov gathered
some of the older factions of Hydra and created the Genesis
Coalitions.
(Silver Sable and the Wild Pack#8) - Years later, at the Genesis Coalition's base in South America, Trefkov and Petrovich questioned Lubischt's work, because it took too much time. They agreed on waiting two more weeks for Lubischt to complete his research for a super-soldier formula. Meanwhile, Dmitri had planted false evidence to blame Hydra. Their plans were foiled by the attack of the Wild Pack that invaded the base and freed the captive subjects. Silver also killed Lubischt, but the other leaders escaped.
(Silver Sable and the Wild Pack#11) - Ivan and the rest of the
Coalition were preparing the attack on Mount Wundagore. Ivan inspected
the Cyberwarriors with Petrovich.
Shortly after, a team of attackers were identified
inside the base: the Wild Pack. A garrison of Cyberwarriors
was dispatched to annihilate the enemies. Trefkov ordered to mobilize
the rest of the Cyberwarrior army.
(Silver Sable and
the Wild Pack#12) -
Unexpectedly the damage caused by the Next Wave to the base was so
severe that the battle-station began sinking. Trefkov and Petrovich
flew to Transia with their army.
Once in the skies of Transia, Trefkov gave voice
to his plan to use Mount Wundagore as a starting base for expanding
their power. Their next target would have been Latveria.
However, the Knights of Wundagore, helped by Siege,
proved to be a challenge. The Coalition leaders left the battlefield
while the Cyberwarriors did the dirty job. The Wild Pack and Next Wave's arrival, to help the
Knights, changed the tide of the battle, and the cyborg army was
defeated.
(Silver Sable and the Wild
Pack#23/1 (fb) - BTS) -
The Genesis Coalition transferred its forces to an old abandoned Hydra
base below Earth's surface.
(Silver Sable and the Wild
Pack#23/1 (fb) - BTS) -
Trefkov and Fritz Sablinova hired Deadpool for capturing Silver Sable.
(Silver Sable and the Wild Pack#23/1) - Deadpool
found some complications when Daredevil helped Sable. Sable paid him
the triple of his rates to get rid of him and to learn that the
Genesis Coalition was after her.
(Silver Sable and the Wild
Pack#24/1) - Trefkov,
tired of Petrovich's failures, had him imprisoned. Meanwhile, the
Genesis Coalition was organizing a full-scale war in Bosnia, in order to put
the blame on Hydra. Hydra would have taken the fall, and the Coalition
would have picked up the pieces.
(Silver Sable and
the Wild Pack#25/1) -
Later, in a submarine, Fritz Sablinova
presented Silver Sable and the Wild Pack as prisoners to Trefkov. The
Nazi gloated. Then he left with Fritz to lead the attack on Bosnia
from an incredibly powerful battle cruiser. Meanwhile, in
Bosnia, Trefkov's trick had worked. The world believed that Hydra was
attacking the Bosnian troops, and S.H.I.E.L.D. had arrived on the scene.
Even Baron Strucker and Hydra had intervened to strike against the Genesis Coalition
forces.
Once he arrived in Bosnia, Trefkov managed to take the System
Crash by surprise. His battle cruiser almost killed
Strucker, who was saved by Wirehead.
Trefkov, following Fritz's suggestion to cloak his cruiser before
being destroyed, disappeared. He continued to drive his forces, but he was the one to be surprised when one of the Genesis Coalition aircrafts
landed in the battle cruiser. The Wild Pack was free and attacked them!
Silver Sable reached Trefkov, beat the old Nazi criminal, then stabbed
him to death. The Genesis Coalition forces were defeated and Fritz Sablinova
died, killed by the Foreigner.
The Genesis Coalition was vanquished.
Comments: Created by Gregory Wright, Steven Butler & James Sanders III.
What a planner Trefkov was. He stabbed Ernst Sablinova and made everybody believe that he was dead. Instead he had him cured, imprisoned and, when the occasion came, or when he calculated it was safe and profitable, transformed Sablinova into a living computer. What if he had schemed the meeting with Strucker only to lure Ernst to Tokyo and to capture him?
