Powers/Abilities: Leena was an experienced private investigator and photographer, able to discretely take pictures of others and their associates from a distance. She felt confident of her ability to be able to spot someone tailing her.
She was confident enough to meet alone with others at her office or
their's, and she was not afraid of threats from ex-convicts she had
previously sent to prison via her research.
She briefly (momentarily?) served as the host to Omen, so she has some faint mystic affinity (touched by magic...). When inhabitted by Omen, she was disoriented and off-balance, leading

History:
(Midnight Sons Unlimited#9/2 (fb) - BTS) - Private investigator Leena Wolfe was hired by Marie Klasser to gather evidence to send her husband, Morton Klasser, to prison for battering her, at least.
(Midnight Sons Unlimited#9/2 (fb) - BTS) - Private investigator Leena Wolfe was hired by fashion editor Allison Lamb after her boyfriend, Charles Blackwater, abandoned her and his old friends.
(Legion of Night#1-2 (fb) - BTS) - Unknownst to Lamb, Blackwater had been slain while investigating the Beyond Reason Spiritual Fellowship and then was reborn via the extradimensional Omen, after which he joined with other loosely mystically-associated people in the Legion of Night to thwart the threat of the demon Aan Taanu.
(Midnight Sons Unlimited#9/2) - After Omen warned Blackwater of a new threat from a minor demon servant of Aan Taanu, Leena Wolfe took pictures as Omen emerged in the earthly plane via Charles' form. Omen sensed that there were eyes open him/it, and Leena realized that the horrific creature saw her and felt that it disliked having its picture taken.
(Midnight Sons Unlimited#9/2 (fb) - BTS) - Terrified, Leena turned and ran.
(Midnight Sons Unlimited#9/2) - The
next day, Leena met with Lamb, showing her photographs of Charles'
associates in the Legion of Night (not that she knew that organizaton's
name). When Lamb asked if there was any hanky-panky goiing on with
Jennifer Kale, Leena told her that Kale had a boyfriend in California,
and that they seemed very happy together; she further noted that
whatever had happened between Lamb and Blackwater, she doubted it was
another woman. 
When Lamb wondered about the connection/attraction to these new friends that she abandoned her and his old friends, Leena told her she didn't know and that she was wondering if either of them wanted to know. She then showed Lamb the pictures she had taken of Charles, notably what seemed to be his " upchucking <a> demon." Leena then told Lamb that she hadn't yet called on any of Blackwater's friends as she thought Lamb should see the pictures so she could decide whether she wanted to take the investigation any further. Although terrified, Lamb felt she had to know, and she told Leena to continue.
(Midnight Sons Unlimited#9/2 - BTS) - Released from Ryker's Island, Morton Klasser considered gaining revenge on Leena Wolfe for sending him to prison, and Aan Taanu's unidentified demon then bonded to him, as Aan Taanu wished to harm those affiliated with Omen.
(Midnight Sons Unlimited#9/2) -
Leena went to Greenwich Village's Thamuz Books, owned by Caspar Wright,
and she asked Ariann about Blackwater. When Ariann told her they
weren't allowed to talk about him, Leena asked "not allowed by whom?"
and Ariann told her that they weren't allowed to say. Caspar then
approached Leena, sympathetically noting that dealing with Ariann was
like running backwards on a merry-go-round, but he nonetheless noted
that he couldn't help her, as Ariann knew best about these things.
Ariann then warned Leena to watch out for Morton Klasser, but Leena
assumed that Blackwater had investigated her and was sandbagging her.
As she left, Ariann told her, "Be careful, lady. He's really crazy."
Leena wondered whether she was supposed to believe the young Ariann was
a mystic or whether she herself was so sloppy she couldn't spot a tail.
(Midnight Sons Unlimited#9/2) - Marie Klasser called Leena, informing her of Morton's release from prison. Leena asked Marie if she would be alright or if she needed protection, but she told Marie not to worry about her. She ended their conversation when there was a knock at her door, and she buzzed in Charles Blackwater and Ariann and Caspar Wright. Blackwater warned her that her inquiries had placed both herself and Allison Lamb in grave danger, after which Omen emerged from Blackwater and told her that it was time for her to meet him and the unseen world as he entered her form.
(Midnight Sons Unlimited#9/2 - BTS) - Ariann and Caspar carried Blackwater's unconscious form to prevent Allison or anyone else from seeing him in that state.
(Midnight Sons Unlimited#9/2) - When Allison Lamb arrived at her office, the disoriented Leena staggered and stammered as she greeted her, leading Lamb to ask if she was drunk. Assuring Allison that she never drank on the job, Leena noted that she had gone blank after someone came in to the office. As Allison tried to help Leena to a seat, the possessed Morton smashed through the door. As the minor demon possessing him led Morton to attack Allison, Morton rebelled, wishing instead to attack Leena. Meanwhile Leena collapsed, and Omen emerged from her form. Omen then tore the demon from Morton, who collapsed, after which Omen slew the demon.
Leena then awakened, and Omen told her that while it was her first glimpse of the unseen world, it would not be her last. Noting that her life had been spared, in time she would have the opportunity to show her appreciation: She would be called on to aid the cause of the Legion of Night, and he told her not to refuse or to take this warning lightly. She acknowledged his advice, and he departed, continuing that while the forces of the unseen were capable of compassion, their wrath knew no bounds.

There is SO much potential for the Legion of Night. There are HUNDREDS
of characters who have had some passing mystical experience that could
be included in this group, and it could be a massive net using various
operatives to discover threats across the planet.
VERY sadly, Steve Gerber is obviously no longer with us, so he won't be writing any further stories,
C'MON, someone!
