Powers/Abilities: Zeeshan's flesh melted, leaving him featureless (without even visible eyes or a mouth). With time, he may have gained control of his flesh.
Zeeshan had some awareness of the darker sides of being a mutant even before becoming one. Beyond that, he seemed to be a typical college student.

Hope#9 (fb) - BTS) - As a kid, Zeeshan got a book, "Portraits of
Freaks: 500 Mutants You Must See Before You Die," picturing mutants
left in horrific states by their mutations.
(Generation Hope#9 (fb) - BTS) - At University of Sheffield, Zee played a game of Truth or Dare with his friends Luke and an unidentified girl.
Taking a dare, Zee snorted chili powder.
(Generation Hope#9) - When Luke asked the girl her freakiest sexual fantasy, she reluctantly admitted to wanting to be on a beach in the middle of nowhere with someone she barely knew.
Challenging that she had a lot more shameful things inside her head, Luke admitted his fantasy of making love to a mutant as a mutant.
After the girl admitted that
Cyclops was kind of cute, Zee made three comments: 
(1) That was 300% freakier than her beach thing;
(2) Cyclops got his appearance because of exercise and diet rather than being a mutant;
(3) Many mutations were horrific, referencing the book he got as a kid.
When Zee received the same question about his sexual fantasy, Zee took
the dare, at which point his mutant powers surfaced.
As his face painfully lost cohesion, Zee dropped his soda and held his face, and when he pulled his hands away, his nose was in is palm.
As Zee continued to cry out in shock and/or pain, Luke took a picture of his melting, noseless face, noting that he would need it for his entry in the book he had referenced.
(Generation Hope#9 - BTS) - Sensing the mutant manifestation, Hope Summers led her team (Oya, Primal, Transonic, Velocidad, Zero) to seek him out.
(Generation Hope#9) - Hiding in the bathroom as all of skin seemed to melt, Zee was appalled as Luke posted his picture and noted how many hits he had gotten.
He apparently tried to call Luke a bastard, after which he stared in the mirror and repeated, "Nuh."
Exiting the bathroom, Zee went into the kitchen.
As Luke tried to get
some updated footage, Zee grabbed a knife and returned to the
bathroom. 
(Generation Hope#9 (fb) - BTS) - Zee killed himself with the knife.
(Generation Hope#9 - BTS) - After Hope felt a wave of pain she transmitted to her teammates, Transonic flew ahead, but when she kicked open the bathroom door, she found Zee already dead.
(Generation Hope#9) - By the time the others arrived, Zee was already being taken away on a stretcher. 
(Generation Hope#9 - BTS) - Before regaining her composure, Hope shouted at Luke for his having contributed to Zee's death.
(Generation Hope#9 - BTS) - Four weeks later, Wolverine stopped Zero from killing Luke for his actions.

Zeeshan was apparently the 7th mutant to gain powers after Hope Summers restored humanity's ability to develop more mutants. However, these mutants tended to have their powers surface out of control until Hope could touch them. Obviously, Hope never got the chance to touch Zeeshan before his death.
For the record, sex on a beach isn't as awesome as it sounds. Sand gets in everything.
