Powers: Khoon is approximately ten feet tall, and likely possesses some measure of superhuman strength, durability, etc. He wears an armored battlesuit which presumably grants him @ Class 75-90 strength, possibly greater. This suit enables him to navigate in the void of space or in the distortion of the Dimensional Corridor. It also enables him to resist powerful energy attacks and release destructive energy blasts. He can even disrupt magical energies with minimal effort. His power level is comparable to that of the Silver Surfer, but is far below the level of Galactus. He lacks the power to travel between dimensions without a ship.
Khoon uses an army of hundreds of powerful robotic dogs, the Wolfpack. These can navigate through space, and are destructive enough that they could disable the ship of Galactus.
Khoon possesses advanced technological knowledge, as well as experience in exploring and mapping. His natural lifespan is unknown, but he has claimed to be millennia old.
History: Khoon was known as the greatest explorer of his people. He conquered land and space in his own dimension until nothing remained unknown. Yearning to explore the unknown, Khoon took a ship into the Dimensional Corridor, a gateway to other dimensions. However, the clashing inter-dimensional forces there proved to powerful for his ship and it tore itself apart.
Khoon's personal suit was sufficient to survive the destructive forces, and he escaped his ship. Finding the ship damaged beyond all hope of repair, he instead cannibalized the debris to construct his own automated servants, the Wolfpack, in hopes that their assistance could help him to escape the Corridor. To no avail, Khoon and his Wolfpack wandered the Corridor for millennia. Without a ship to provide further protection, he knew he would be destroyed had he attempted to breach the portals to other dimensions. During his time in the Corridor, he amassed complete navigational charts of the Corridor, which he stored in his battlesuit.
During the events known as the Infinity War, the Magus I made his base at the far end of the Dimensional Corridor. Seeking to confront and defeat him, Galactus brought Dr. Strange, Nova II, and the Silver Surfer with him as he traversed the Corridor. The constant turbulence present in the Corridor rendered Galactus' ship's sensors useless, and all of its energies were necessary to provide constant repair from the turbulence in order to stay intact. Galactus and Strange were needed to track the Magus's power and direct the ship.
Khoon sensed Galactus's ship, and sent his Wolfpack to disable it. The Surfer and Nova traveled outside the ship to stop the Wolfpack. Despite their own great power, the two heralds were only able to stop mass destruction, but unable to claim a clear victory over the Wolfpack. Khoon himself confronted the two heralds, and after a short, inconclusive battle with the Surfer, severed Nova' umbilical attachment to the ship and threatened to cast her into the Corridor unprotected, where she would be destroyed.
Believing that Galactus would quickly dispatch Khoon, Norrin agreed to allow him to board the ship. Dr. Strange, frustrated over his interference and the resultant delay, attempted to force Khoon to stand down, and was quickly blasted into unconsciousness. Khoon threatened Galactus with destruction of himself and his ship if he didn't turn it over. Amused by the temerity of anyone to threaten him, Galactus pretended to accede to Khoon's demands and requested to know his past history. Khoon willing narrated his past, but when he revealed he had maps to the Corridor stored within his armor, Galactus commanded his ship to infiltrate the armor and gain that knowledge. Khoon himself was destroyed as the ship's circuitry invaded and consumed both he and his armor. Now possessing the means to navigate to the Magus's fortress, Galactus and his allies continued their trip to confront their enemy.
