Powers: The Slasher had metal claws in place of his hands, which could rend solid steel. He could fire lasers from his eyes and hands. He was somewhat skilled with explosives.

History: Unrevealed. The Slasher was presumably empowered by Mr. Kline, alongside Demetrius. He dominated and abused Demetrius, whom he saw as his assistant, until the time Demetrius revealed his full power.

(Iron Man I#41) - Demetrius and the Slasher were hired by Mr. Kline to sabotage the work of Tony Stark. Mr. Kline sought to prevent a certain future from coming about, by preventing Stark from being an industrial leader. They planted a bomb in a building of his design, making it appear as if a structural fault was responsible. However, the damage was incomplete, and Iron Man appeared in time to prevent the deaths of the people within the building, thus foiling the plot to make him appear responsible for those deaths.

Kline then sent the two to assault Washington, D.C. Again Iron Man appeared, and this time battled the two. Iron Man succeeded in resisting the Slasher's energy blasts, and knocked him to the ground with a single punch. However, Demetrius then accessed his full power and began to easily batter Iron Man. As Demetrius and the Slasher prepared to execute Iron Man, his girlfriend Marianne Rodgers rushed to the scene. Her own raw, undisciplined mental powers interfered with Demetrius', causing them to vanish. Iron Man once again easily stopped the Slasher, and they were both presumably arrested.

Many of Mr. Kline's agents were robots, but there is neither evidence to support or deny this as being the case with the Slasher.
