History:

(MCP#56/4): The owners of the Slice & Dice Restaurant liked to wear masks when they were alone with each other in their private club. Their restaurant didn't do very well because Solo was stealing money from it for months and they had to close it. Duet, Trio and Sextet found out and tried to go after Solo. Duet died in an explosion caused by a henchman of Solo. Trio was shot by another henchman, but Sextet got away and went to their restaurant posing as Trio. He threatened Solo who got help from Quartet and Quintet. Speedball who followed Sextet to the club tried to call the police, but Solo took notice of him and his partners attacked him. Solo stopped Quartet from shooting Speedball because he wanted to blame all their crimes on the young hero. Sextet was shot in the back by Quintet and told his former partners about a secret that would ruin them all. Solo, Quartet and Quintet were still thinking what the secret of Sextet could be when Speedball attacked them again. He beat them and left only seconds before the police arrived. Sextet, who called the police, told them about the crimes his former partners had committed.

Solo

He stole from the restaurant for months and planned to eliminate the partners who tried to get him after he was exposed. He was responsible for the death of Duet and Trio. He was surprised by Sextet posing as Trio, but his partners Quartet and Quintet helped him against Sextet. Solo was the first to see Speedball and when the Masked Marvel was defeated he wanted him to stay alive as their scapegoat. He was defeated by Speedball when he tried to find out what the secret of Sextet was.

Duet

Duet was one of the members of Slice & Dice who found out about the ongoing theft by Solo. He stole something very important for him and Robbie Baldwin watched him running away with it. Baldwin followed him as Speedball and witnessed Duet's death in an explosion.

Trio

Trio was working together with Sextet and Duet to stop Solo (who didn't knew that Trio was against him too). Trio warned Sextet that Solo wanted to murder him and Duet, but got shot by accident by the men Solo hired to kill Sextet. Sextet took Trio's mask to oppose Solo.

Quartet

Quartet worked together with Solo behind the backs of Duet, Trio and Sextet. He came together with Quintet into their restaurant and stopped Sextet from killing Solo. Quartet shot at Speedball and wanted to kill him when he fell to the ground, but Solo stopped him because they needed someone to blame for their crimes. He was defeated by Speedball when he tried to find out what the secret of Sextet was.

Quintet

Quintet worked together with Solo behind the backs of Duet, Trio and Sextet. He came together with Quartet into their restaurant and stopped Sextet from killing Solo. He punched Sextet into his face and shot him later in the back. He was defeated by Speedball when he tried to find out what the secret of Sextet was.

Sextet

Sextet was one of the members of Slice & Dice who found out about the crimes of Solo. He met with Trio who told him that Solo wanted to kill him. Sextet took the mask of Trio after he was shot and went to their restaurant. Posing as Trio he opposed Solo who was surprised by him changing the spots on his face. Sextet thought that Quartet and Quintet wanted to help him when they entered the restaurant, but they were working together with Solo. Sextet was knocked out and saved by Speedball. Sextet tried to run away when he got to his feet, but Quintet shot him in the back. While lying on the ground he told Solo and his partners, that he had a secret that would ruin them all. The police arrived and the secret of Sextet was that he called them. He told them about the crimes of Solo and the others.
