Police psychologists tried to talk to him, but he was unresponsive. Hawkeye flew to the naval yard when he heard about it through police radio and planned to stop the suicide. Jakarter jumped before Hawkeye could speak with him. Hawkeye still tried to save him and after using a magnetic pad arrow he was even able to reach Jakarter, but Jakarter didn't held on Hawkeye's hand and fell into the sea. Hours later Jakarter's dead body was found. One policeman recognized him as the boxer he watched with his father when he still was a kid.
